User Instructions:

To apply:
To apply hand brake, pull upwards on either handle 1 or 2 until the hand brake is sufficiently applied.

To Release:
To release the hand brake, pull back on handle 1 to trigger the hand brake button. The hand brake will then lower to the floor. (Fig. a)

Fitting Instructions:
1) Loosen the 2 wing nuts on the base of the hand brake easy release. (Fig 1)
2) Loosen the 2 curved plates to allow the Hand Brake Easy release to be fitted. (Fig 2) 
3) Position the Hand Brake Easy Release to the right side of the hand brake, adjacent to the hand brake release button. (Fig 2)
4) Whilst holding the Hand Brake Easy Release next to the hand brake, pull the release lever towards the rear of the vehicle so that it depresses the button on the hand brake.   (Fig 3)
5) Hold the Hand Brake Easy Release in the depressed position and then tighten the wing nuts up to secure the Hand Brake Easy Release in place. (Fig 4)
 6) Test the Hand Brake Easy Release by pulling upwards on handle 1 or 2 to set the hand brake, and then release the hand brake by pulling gently backwards on handle 1. Do this several times to confirm that the Hand Brake Easy Release is securely fastened in place, and that you are totally aware of how it works.

Maintenance:
The Hand Brake Easy Release requires very little maintenance. The following procedures should be carried out at the set intervals:

Daily:
i) Before each journey, check that the Hand Brake Easy Release is securely mounted to the hand brake. Ensure that the two wing nuts that secure the Hand Brake Easy Release in place are tight.
ii) Ensure that there are no obstacles in the way of the Hand Brake Easy Release to hinder its operation.
iii) Test that the Hand Brake Easy Release works correctly.
Monthly:
i) Apply a small drop of light oil to the pivot of the Hand Brake Easy Release (ENSURE THAT YOU DO NOT GET OIL ON THE GRIP OF THE HAND BRAKE EASY RELEASE, HAND BRAKE OR SURROUNDING UPHOLSTERY.)
